Be happy in the moment, that’s enough: Each moment is all we need, not more. Mother Teresa
Peaceful Giants II
It’s nice to just sit and be still. Thinking of nothing except how good life feels in the moment. Mindful of the peace in my heart. When I am out among the cypress trees and the stillness of the swamp, the peace feels profound. It is easy to be happy in the moment. The cypress are like peaceful giants, drawing me to them, closer to the knowing, the feeling that all is right in this world. Surrounded by their presence the birds, creatures and plants of the swamp are at perfect peace and harmony. The realization that all is well in Gods world is made easier for me. The trees do not struggle to grow and the egrets do not worry over their next meal. They do not worry if there is enough minnows for everyone. All is working in perfect harmony. Then all of the concern and doubt that consumes to many of my moments seems such a waist of time. It will not change the future, we cannot change the past. It only steals the moment. The trees are peaceful giants and a reminder of how perfect moment by moment our lives can be if we just allow it.
